Welcome to Climber’s Rock! We’re happy you’re starting your yoga journey with us whether you’ve new here or new to yoga altogether. The 1,700 sq ft studio is up the stairs off the mezzanine; just follow the sign and arrow.
What to bring:
We have all the props you’ll need, but for reasons of hygiene, we do recommend that you invest in a mat for yourself. Please be prepared to practice in bare feet, and wear clothes that you can move in comfortably. Also, it’s a good idea to avoid eating for at least an hour or two before class.
It's very important to inform the teacher before class begins of any special health conditions or injuries you may have. We don’t recommend coming to class with any active injuries (e.g., broken bones, tears, herniated discs).
Starting a class:
You can drop in to most public classes at any time, though some require preregistration (look for a footnote next to the class listing). For classes not requiring preregistration, you can just come and once you are there pay at the front desk (check our prices page).
**Please plan to be at the studio 10–15 minutes before class is scheduled to begin. You’ll need that time to check in, get settled because our classes start on time.**
Please avoid wearing scented lotions or oils, as several of our students are severely allergic.
Honour your body's needs and limitations:
Remember that yoga is not a competition. If a posture or movement feels inappropriate for your body, then modify the pose or ask the instructor for assistance.
